Amazon - Your one stop shop for nearly everything, an Amazon Gift Card is perfect for anything your new grad could need. And did you know that students get free Amazon Prime for 6 months, which includes free 2 day shipping, access to Amazon Music, and unlimited photo storage? You can also give the gift of Prime for the college grad who's no longer eligible for Amazon Student.
Target - Another one stop shop, Target gives new grads everything they need to set up a dorm room or first apartment, fun clothes, gadgets, or even those every day essentials (like groceries!).
Bed, Bath, & Beyond - This was my go to place for furnishing my dorm room and my first apartment. Bed, Bath, & Beyond is a perfect choice for grads heading out on their own for the first time.
Travel - Help fund an after graduation trip, or offset travel fees to help them get home for college breaks with a gift card to Southwest Airlines. (PS - this would be awesome packaged with a copy of Oh The Places You'll Go)
Entertainment - Give them a chance to take a well deserved break with a movie gift card - you can find gift cards for Regal Cinemas or AMC Entertainment, just make sure you pick one that has locations convenient to your graduate.
Gas Stations - Road trip! Or just a chance to get around town, a gas gift card is always a practical choice (and they can grab snacks and drinks for the road too).
iTunes - Any new grads would love a chance to pick out their own apps, movies, and music with a gift card to iTunes.
Once you've decided on your gift card, you'll need a fun way to package it. A friend put together these adorable printable gift card envelopes for me to share with you and I just love them!
Simply print on a standard letter sized paper (I recommend printing on card stock for best results), cut along the solid lines, then fold along the red lines. Seal with glue or clear tape for a super cute and personalized touch to your graduation gift!
