Activities for preschoolers need to be fun and easy to set up. With twin preschoolers at home, I'm all about creating activities that will keep them engaged and entertained while also being completely doable for moms.

Favorite Activities for Preschoolers

We have a few activities that are not only favorites with my preschoolers, but have been popular with my readers too. If you need a quick activity to help you fight off rainy day boredom, or give you a few minutes peace to make dinner, these will give you plenty of ideas.

I'm always inspired by books, so I have a bunch of preschool book activities. You can find activities for preschool classics like Little Blue Truck, Goodnight Gorilla, or the Three Little Pigs,  or discover a new favorite like What Pet Should I Get? by Dr. Seuss. 

I love encouraging pretend play, and this collection of 40 pretend play ideas has everything from dramatic play set ups to costumes and props. You have to see the pretend airport, it's amazing! We also have a few favorite pretend play activities, including our pretend pet grooming salon and dog eye doctor.

You don't need an elaborate set up to create activities for preschoolers - things as simple as balloon activities or cookie cutter activities use common things you can find around the house. Or try one of these easy indoor activities for preschoolers (there's even a way to play with the laundry!)
