I love when I can make something myself for pennies that I would otherwise buy. Besides saving money, you can often avoid harmful chemicals and additives when you go the do it yourself route. This week's Frugal Family features great DIY ideas that save you money and are good for you too!
Steam Powered Family shared a great recipe for Homemade Veggie Stock. I love this! I've made homemade chicken stock but had never thought to do it for veggies. What a great way to reduce waste, use up scraps, and save money.
Just Another Mom gave us great ideas for Simple Homemade Cleaning Products. I have been making my own cleaning products for years and have saved so much money. I'm also convinced that my house is healthier without all the chemicals!
P is for Preschooler posted a great how to for DIY Powdered Paint. What a fun way to use up broken pieces of sidewalk chalk and save on art supplies for the kids!
Nemcsok Farms gives us some food for thought on DIY Essential Oils. Essential oils are super popular right now, but did you know you could make them yourself? This is a really interesting read.
