I love Fall. It's by far my favorite season of the year. Before kids it was all about pumpkin spice lattes and new boots (OK, those are still two of my favorite things), but now there are so many more reasons to love this season. I'm always on the lookout for Fall family activities and Fall books for the kids and I found a new title from some old friends that is just perfect!

I grew up with the Berenstain Bears books and I love sharing my childhood favorites with my boys. I jumped at the opportunity to review the brand new Berenstain Bears' Harvest Festival because it's all about Fall activities for kids!
The Berenstain Bears' Harvest Festival is a wonderful book for families that celebrates the blessings of Fall. It follows the Bear family as they head to their church's Harvest Festival. Along the way, they celebrate the sights, sounds, and joys of Fall. The book is lovely in its description of some of the fun autumn activities that we all love - apple picking, hayrides, and making pumpkin pie!
The illustrations are bright and fun, reminding me of the books I loved as a child. There is a very strong message throughout the book, inviting young readers to explore the world around them and take in all the sights, sounds, and smells of Fall. I loved how it encourages families to spend time together enjoying autumn activities, and to also give thanks for our many blessings at this time of year.
The Berenstain Bears' Harvest Festival is perfect for preschoolers and younger children to celebrate the Fall season. We loved it so much that it inspired me to create our own Fall Family Fun List!
This Fall Family Fun List is inspired by the Bear Family's adventures in Harvest Festival, and I've put it together as a FREE PRINTABLE that you can download for your own family.
