We had a really interesting conversation in my moms book club the other day - do you have multiple books around the house in various states of progress or are you a one book at a time purist? I fall squarely in the second category - I have to finish one book before I can start another. It's almost as if I get so engrossed in the world of the book that I'm reading that my mind can't switch gears and jump into another. And if it's a book I really love, I sometimes need to take a day or two break before I can start a new one, even though my to-read list is a mile long.
Several of my fellow book club members are in the first category and said that they have books everywhere, some they have just started, some in the middle, and some almost done. That got me thinking - how would you keep track of what you're reading and, if you have a book club meeting coming up, when you need to finish by? Even with one book at a time, I often lose track of the date and end up staying up late in the night to finish on time.
I've come up with a great solution for any of us who are in a book club and need to finish a book by a certain date - book club reminder bookmarks. And I'm making them available here as a free printable to download!

These free printable bookmarks are lovely as they are, but they are also designed so that you can color them in and make them your own. With three different designs, you can personalize them with your favorite color palettes. And what makes them perfect for book clubs is there is a space on each one to remind you when you need to finish your book!

I recommend printing these bookmarks on card stock and using your favorite colored pencils to add your own style. You may print as many as you need for personal use only please.
