When I was a kid, my favorite story was The Little Engine That Could. My mom would tell it to me over and over again when I was feeling discouraged, and as I got older I would remember it whenever I needed a boost. Just repeating I think I can... in my head has gotten me through some of my toughest days.
A couple of years ago, I vowed to never have another bad day. But that doesn't mean I don't have tough moments - times when I lose my cool with my kids, feel overwhelmed by everything I need to do, or times when I miss my dad. But when those moments hit, I take a cue from the little engine and try to put a positive voice in my head. I have a few sayings that always do the trick, and I asked a friend to turn these inspirational quotes into planner stickers that I could use every day to stay motivated. I love how they turned out and I'm so excited to share them with you!
