I don't know about you, but my kids have been asking "how many days until Halloween?" since July. It's a toss up whether they look forward to Halloween or Christmas more. This year, I'm thinking Halloween might be pulling ahead.
We've had a Christmas Countdown calendar for years but we've never made a Halloween Countdown calendar. This year I'm changing that and am so excited to offer this free Halloween Countdown calendar printable to your family too.

The Countdown to Halloween
There are so many fun ways to count down the days until Halloween. It's a holiday filled with things to do for kids of all ages (and those of us who are kids at heart too). I always start getting ready for Halloween by printing out my Halloween planner pages. These pages are a great addition to my Happy Planner and help me decide which activities, outings and crafts we will do in the days leading up to Halloween.
I also like to print out our Halloween Bucket List with 31 activity ideas. One for each day of the Halloween countdown calendar! This list is a great companion to your countdown calendar and gives you a fun Halloween activity for every day in October.
Halloween Countdown Calendar Printable
Now that you're ready with activities and outings planned for October it's time to start the Halloween Countdown. And you can do this easily with my free Halloween Countdown calendar printable.
This Halloween Countdown calendar has two printable pages: the first is a set of 31 stickers to cover each day on the calendar. The second page is the calendar itself.
Start by downloading the set by clicking on the button below.

Then print the calendar page on card stock and hang it up in a prominent place. You can even add it to your kids command center.
Next, you'll need to make your stickers. You have a few options for this. You can print it on full size sticker paper and cut them out by hand (great practice for the kids!). Or, if you have a Cricut like me, you can create the stickers with just a few easy steps.
Making Halloween Countdown Calendar Stickers with Cricut
I love using my Cricut for all kinds of projects, especially stickers (I may have a slight planner sticker addiction).
Here's how you can make the Halloween Countdown calendar stickers with your Cricut.
Next, head to Cricut Design Space. Create a new project and choose "upload." Upload your JPG image, choosing "complex" for your image type. Hit continue.
Now, click onto the white background and hit erase. Click continue.
Save this as a "print then cut image."
Insert the image onto your canvas. You will need to resize it at this point to 6.087" x 9.25". Click "make it" and proceed as directed to print then cut your stickers. Be sure to choose "no bleed" when you print for best results.
Now you're ready to start the countdown to Halloween! Cover each day with a jack o' lantern sticker until you reach Halloween.
