Stocking Your Backyard Lemonade Stand
The first (and most important) part to creating your own backyard lemonade stand is stocking it with drink choices that everyone will love. DIY Mason Jar Glasses
These DIY lemonade glasses are a super cute addition to your backyard lemonade stand, and they are so easy to make! You can use traditional glass mason jars, or choose a plastic version for the kids.
Here's what you need to make them yourself!
- Mason jars
- Lemon design (you can download it below, along with the printable lemonade stand sign)
- Yellow and pink vinyl
- Cutting machine and vinyl accessories (transfer tape, etc.)
Start by downloading the lemon slice design. Then, upload it into your cutting machine design program, and resize if needed. Cut the design onto your yellow and pink vinyl, and cut out the individual lemon slices.
Rub the outer surface of your mason jar with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry. This helps the vinyl to adhere to the surface.
Then place one lemon slice on the side of the jar, and use transfer tape to place the vinyl onto the jar.
Repeat this process on all 4 sides, alternating colors. That's it! Your new lemonade sipper is ready to go.
Repeat the process to create as many glasses as you'll need for your family, then you'll be ready to set up your backyard lemonade stand!
Setting up your lemonade stand is easy. You'll need:
- Sturdy table
- Printable lemonade stand sign
- 12x12 printed card stock (optional)
- Chilled Sparkling Ice® 17 oz. bottles in an assortment of flavors
- Paper or reusable straws
- Mason jar glasses
Start by printing out the "ice cold lemonade" sign. You can trim it and glue on top of colored 12x12 card stock, if you'd like to give it an extra pop. Place the sign on your table.
Then, stock a container with your chilled Sparkling Ice bottles. Add your paper straws and new mason jar glasses, and invite your family to grab a drink and enjoy!
